Questionable Parenting Decision #6005
“Big kids won’ plray wif me,” Brick (3yo) told me with big tears rolling down his cheeks.
As the youngest of eight myself, I feel his pain.
So . . . I told him to go have so much fun that all the kids will beg to play with him.
Er . . .no.
So . . . I had a heart to heart with the big kids about including everyone.
Er . . . no.
So . . . I dropped everything I was doing and played with him myself.
Er . . . no.
Nope, indeed, I filled Brick’s pockets with Swedish Fish, and told him to only share with kids who play with him. It totally worked.

Buttercup is Ruining the Game!
Says Brick, only it sounds more like "utter-up uin-ing aim."
I say, "Well tell her to stop that!"
Brick marches back to the game and says, quite calmly, "ahhhop 'at."
Clearly he knows how to relay a message.
