Piano Practice

Yesterday Blossom was playing one of her beautiful impromtu masterpeices.

When she finished she announced, "That song was about not writing on the walls. And not peeing on the walls."

Mommy, we made you presents!!

I took a nap, with earplugs, while dh watched the kids. When I woke up, opened the door into the hallway, the girls came running, "Mommy we made you presents! Presents, Mommy, presents!"

(I didn't really get to keep any of them, the girls wanted them all back after I opened them.)

Pee in a Cup

Nurse Barbie: "Buttercup, I have a special deal for you."

Buttercup:"Okay!"

NB: "I'm going to give you this very special cup and you're going to put some pee in it, and when you get back I'll trade you the cup for this lollypop!"

Buttercup: "Okay! Okay!"

Flashforward: The Next Night in the Bathroom

Daddy (voice carrying through the entire house): No! No! Don't pee in the cup. Pee in the toilet.

Buttercup: Okay!


Moments later we discovered day's collection of "cups" lined up on bathroom sink,Buttercup has a new skill.
