"Why don't you like Barbie?" Blossom asked me today.
How to explain to a four year old? "Um . . . well . . . It's just that Barbie teaches little girls that it's important to be pretty, and I think it's more important to be strong and smart and nice."
"Pretty? Pretty?" Blossom says through her teeth, "But MOM! Some girls want to be pretty and some girls DON't!"
