My husband was lying on our bathroom floor, head and shoulders under the sink, quietly muttering. In his ideal world, he would never have to fix anything. Everything would fix itself, or I would fix it so he would never have to even know about it. I stood in the doorway and said, "You're obviously not doing that correctly."
He became very still and silent, either sorry or glad that he could not reach me with the pipe wrench.
"Because your butt crack is not showing," I finished. He laughed hard. Whew.
